Metafit Geelong- January Workout

Hi Guys! The new January workout ‘King of the Beast’ will be on show this week at Geelong’s home of MetaFit, Main Event Fitness! This will run at our usual time of Tuesday & Thursday at 7am. This workout comes in at just over 24 minutes and consists of 3 round of 3 exercises with a ‘Core Challenge at the end of each round.

Each exercise is repeated 3x through with reducing rest time and the core exercises are 18 seconds back to back. As usual there is a nasty finisher of all 9 exercises done with only a 5 second rest between.

Your King of Beasts exercises are…

Round 1:
Sprints
Tuck Jumps
Walking Squats

Round 2:
Hammer Blows
Split Press ups
Explosive Jacks

Round 3
2 Step Dash
Burpee Turns
Hurdle Jumps

All repeated 3x through 25 seconds work/15 and then only 8 seconds rest.

Core Challenge:
Squat Thrusts
Reverse Crab Walk
Plank rotation
Reverse Plank

18 seconds on each, no rest between at the end of each round.

Finisher:
All 9 round exercises back to back, 18 seconds on each with only a 5 second rest. No hanging around, straight into the next exercise here!!
