Member of the Month – July 2018

Our member of the month for July is Daniel Pantè… Have you seen him around the gym? Don’t forget to say g’day next time you see him! We asked Daniel a little about himself…

Hey Dan, we notice that you come into the gym at odd times. Why is that?

I’m self-employed and have two young children so I do find myself going at odd times whether it be early in the morning, after work or even during the day between appointments. The fact the gym has great opening hours it allows me the chance to fit the gym in around my busy schedule.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Spare time… what’s that! With two kids and a small business it’s hard to find any spare time. If I’m not at the gym or with the family I enjoy my cars and Football (of both varieties!).

What do you do for work?

I’ve been a Financial Adviser for 10 years now and my wife and I run our own business Centuria Wealth Management in Newtown.

What do you enjoy most about training at ETC?

I have been to quite a few gyms over my time and ETC offers the environment I was looking for. The gym is spacious which gives you plenty of room to do whatever training you need to do without the worry of not being able to access equipment. The staff and members are friendly people which gives the gym a great vibe. For me personally keeping fit is part of my lifestyle and training gives me the time to have a break from work, reduce stress and clear my mind.

What sort of training do you enjoy most?

For any one that knows me, particular these days, I am more into weight training than cardio! The gym has a great amount of equipment and free weights to be able to complete the training I like to do. Despite what people say…. I do train legs….

Is it true you are friends with Johnny Football?

Yes, it is true I am friends with Johnny Football. I’m not sure why his nickname has changed to that given he has watched about three games of soccer in his whole life. I think it has something to do with correctly predicted the outcome of the World Cup Final….
